Outer to Cut Span

Refer: Span

The Outer-to-Cut span is widely used today due to the popularity of interchangeable thumb mechanisms.  This measurement is taken off an already-drilled ball using this type of system.  The measurement is taken from the inside edge of the “female” portion of the interchangeable system to the OD cut of the inserts.  This is a great measurement to have on file if you’re client is not present when drilling the ball for them.  This makes it easy when the client comes to pick up his ball… simply open the box and pop the “male” piece in and VOILA!
