v 3.144

Previous patch notes at this link

v3.144 fixes several issues identified by the community:

Major bug fix: Text field causing spec sheet duplication on wrong client.

  • A bug has been addressed where a full spec sheet would be duplicated after changing the spec sheet name and navigating to another client using the ‘back’ button. This has now been resolved in this patch.

Minor bug fix: V/H oval cut values on printout not following settings

  • Several patches back, we added the feature in the Settings to allow users to flip between displaying the Vertical cuts on top of the Horizontal cuts, either displaying V/H or H/V. This setting only made the change on screen and wasn’t reflected on the printout. This has now been rectified.

Clone Improvement

When cloning a spec sheet, it would always put the new spec sheet name as “<Clone>” and you would have to click the edit button to make a change to the Spec Sheet name. Now, when you clone, the spec sheet name prompt will automatically pop-up, allowing you to give a meaningful name to your cloned sheet as you create it.

Addition of the Audit button

In response to the bug above, we have also added a way to see the audit records in ‘view only mode’. Spectre tracks every change you make, every step of the way. By clicking the blue i icon at the bottom of the spec sheet, you can use the arrows to scroll thru and view all the changes you made to that spec sheet over time. In normal circumstances, you will see data being added at each step, and it will follow the order in which you populated the fields. This is also now a great tool for debugging and also seeing what one of your staff might have done as a change to an existing sheet.

Arsenal Preview Sort Order

In the Arsenal section of the Spec Sheet. The preview on the bottom or right part of your screen will now be sorted by default by “date drilled” in descending order. Also, this list will only display “active” balls. In order to view the entire list, you’ll need to goto the “Complete Arsenal” section.

Ovals: Starting Bit < Oval Width

This change only affects those who use the Oval Width in Drill bit sizes in their settings. Ex: Starting: 7/8″, Oval: 1″

The dropdown value for the oval width will no longer allow to select a smaller size than the starting bit. This didn’t make mathematical sense and would make the calculator crash. This also helps avoid confusion and uncessary scrolling. This is a very nice quality of life update.
